Echo Park, VERY nub, /curtsey
don't know which is more daunting for me as i'm trying to scratch the surface - learning the technical aspects of bike anatomy, or learning the complexities of commuting here in downtown. both can kill me if i'm not well versed, if i understand correctly.
most of my online inquiries have directed me here, so i figured registering would be a good idea. so hi :thumb: |
Welcome to Bike Forums. We have a lot of NY riders here.
What kind of bike do you ride? |

thanks for catching the location AND the lotr reference, Nerdanel ;p i usually go with Fingolfin on my mmo forums, but too many people think its a golf reference...
i live a bit north of Sunset (x Beaudry), and i shoot down Grand into downtown - the few times i've had the balls to mess with traffic. i've made some extremely uneducated choices in bike purchases over the years. have a Giant FCR3 atm, but now that i'm making a transition to more dedicated riding, been looking at Jamis Beatnik vs Bianchi Pista flat bar. i don't want to clutter an intro thread with whats better questions, but yeah, i'm a novice rider with a huge void of knowledge. i just know i dont care about being "deck", but i do appreciate the aesthetics of a a bike...to an extent. |
