Bikes: Tommasisni Tecno, old style with columbus tubing, dura-ace parts. I love it.

G'day from Oz(tralia)
Hi to all from 'downunder'.
I am an old timer from Adelaide South Australia, who first started serious cycling in the 1970's. My first quality machine was a Lennie Rogers with Reynolds 531 Superlight double butted steel tubing. and Campagnolo record throughout. I loved that bike. I raced for a while as a vet for the Port Adelaide cycling club, but gave it away as I couldn't afford to fall off and bend my bike, which I nearly did one day.
I have recently got back on the bike after buying an older steel framed Colnago at BikeExchange.com. I still love the older style bikes. To me they are a thing of beauty. I get to know them intimately as I do all my own maintenance.
Hope to give more info on Lennie Rogers soon.
cheers
Rick
