What kind of BMW do you ride?

I've really been wanting to learn and get a mid/late 70's BMW after seeing a few really nice ones on the street in italy (I think they were R series somethings)...something that I could work on myself but still rely on somewhat

Go ride one of these.
I was on a tour and 6 of the riders rode them.
Great for hills and flat roads.
