Hello From College Place, WA

I recently acquired a Peugeot bike year and model unknown. I do know that it is a Carbolite 103 Tube Special;and it has a huret rear derailer, and weimann brake levers. I took the tires off because they were flat and the tubes say 26x1 3/8.

Welcome to Bike Forums. If you post a photo of your bike in the Classic & Vintage forum, I bet they can help you identify it.

So I'm getting two different stories here; some say 83 P6 and some say 84 P8.
