New from Omaha, Nebraska

I'm new to the forum.

I have been riding bikes for over 40 years.

worked in bike shops for 4 years.

I have been riding road bikes for forever. Riding in across state tours over the last 20 years.

I rode a couple of self contained tours 20 years ago and want to get back into loaded touring. I am planning on week long loading touring trips in the States.

I have seven bikes

1 mountain bike - 1984 Specialized Stumpjumper
hybred - Cannondale
Eisentraut TT bike

road bikes are
Masi Campy equiped
Zullo a vintage Italian steel bike with campy nouvo record, I got it when it wasn't vintage
Giant TCR C1 campy record

Jamis Aurora Elite just got this for loaded touring

I find working on my bikes is just as satisfying as riding them.

I typically ride 40-50 miles per week and do a week long supported tour per year.

I have been working on getting good, ultralite camping equipment for my loading touring trips.

my first loaded tour will be either around Quebec or the Katy Trail in Missouri.
