Be gentle...I'm new
So cool that there is a forum for going "green" as far as errands on bikes. Me: pro road & MTB racer in the '80's; now, just a guy that wants to do less by car and more on his bike! As soon as they get down loaded - my wifes task - I'll post pics of my '84 SweetHeart Cycles/Motocruiser racer that is now my utility bike - full fenders and bars from mid 90's Huffy bike. I/we picked up a Bell kids trailer with the seats removed and it is now a training trailer for my wifes Havanese and is my current utility trailer. We make 5x/week runs (12 mi. round trip) to the P.O w/ the dog in it to get the mail and should start the grocery runs this week!! we are out in Littlerock, CA 65 mi. NE of LA in the high desert... we want to do as many errands as we can on our bikes (wife has a Specialized Tricross Sport '08) and I look forward to the engaging conversation on here!!
