Greetings from Missouri!
Hello everyone!
(And just in case you were wondering, it's pronounced "Missour-ee", not "Missour-uh.")
p.s. I really enjoy the emoticons on this forum. Too funny!

I ride a 1987 Fuji Sagres, recently purchased.
Used to have a 1996 Raleigh R500 but I had to sell it last spring to pay for school. (I am a college student.)
I ride the gorgeous highways of northeastern MO. I am looking for an indoor trainer with which to ride in my living room this winter.
And I have completed 1 triathlon. And with my new lovely roadbike I hope to complete many more.
I am excited about this forum! The internet has made so many things possible nowadays. I think the open sharing of knowledge and creativity in forums like this one bodes well for the future of humanity.
And pardon the excesive emoticons. Since this isn't a "serious" forum I couldn't resist the opportunity.

thanks!
One thing about being close to a big city is the proximity of bike shops. I definitely envy you that! :-)
Some lovely country down there. And good mushroom hunting the spring, so I here.
Thanks for the welcomes!

Wow- A Fuji Sagres!!
Wow - a Fuji Sagres!! I bought mine at the bike shop in Marthasville ( off the Katy Trail) 10 years ago. I still ride it along with my other two bikes. I consider my Sagres as my Cadillac- GREAT ride. Mine's a 1998 model. Hope you get many years out of yours as I will get out of mine. I'm having it's first major tune up next month so I can ride it from Little Rock up to St. Louis next summer.

I'm from Poplar Bluff, a small town in Southeast Missouri. I can totally appreciate your pointing out how to pronounce MO! I'm a big believer in ee vs. uh (not that I would correct anyone seriously) I'm also a newbie to BF...but by now, you're probably not so new.
