From the Springs
Hi from Colorado Springs,
I知 a soon to be 52 yr old that rediscovered cycling about 7 months ago. The last time I rode was around 1973 when I got my driver license.
I ride the trails around the springs on an entry level Bianchi Ruck that I bought at Bicycle Village around March or April of 09. I ride about 14 miles every weekday on the homestead trail which I can get to right out of my back door. On the weekends I値l try to ride one of the open spaces or one of the many trails around the area and shoot for 30 to 40miles. Thankfully a good friend that rode competitively has been helping with some of the dos and don稚s and techniques that help in singletrack mountain riding.
I致e upgraded many parts in the last month or so, SLX crank, XT series front and rear derailleur, shifters, wheels and hubs, 9speed cassette. I値l get to the front fork and make a disk brake conversion in the spring.
Just want to say hi and thanks to all the regular contributors. This place is just a wealth of info.
