hello from sw washington
I have been looking at this forum for sometime and have really enjoyed reading the various posts that I have read so finally decided to sign up. I have a Gary Fisher Marlin mtn bike and a Strong brand steel road bike and enjoy riding both of them. This past summer my brother in law and I rode the Trail of the Couer d alenes located in the northern panhandle of Idaho. It is a rail trail that has been paved 72 miles and has been rated easy. It ran from Plummer to Mullan Idaho and it can best be described as fantanstic with viewing of timber and mining towns, wetlands, rivers, lakes and moutains. We also observed moose, elk and deer and other wildlife. The route crosses over numerous bridges and old rail trestles and has been my most pleasant bicycle experience to date.

I'm looking forward to hooking up with you and going on another ride next summer. Maybe sooner.
