Hello.
I am from Iowa. I have four bikes so far, a '63 Schwinn Tiger with a Bendix two speed, a '68 racer with a 3 speed hub, a '63 Typhoon with a single speed, and a '77 Varsity ten speed. My favorite of them all is the Tiger. I found it for free in 2005 on the curb with flat tires and the grease frozen between the two gears. Since two years ago when I got an odometor on it, I went 1,200 miles... but then the odometor broke. But, as you can see, I like the old bikes far better than the new.
Right now I am working on making a set of skis for the front wheel of my bike so I can ride it in the winter. May be cold... But that is all I have to move around.
Other intrests of mine include Tube Radio repair and vintage gasoline engines.
But, hopefully I can be a help (and find help) on these forums.
Thanks,
Brian S.

Welcome to BF.
Tube radios? I used to mess with those, but that was years ago when I could find tubes at Radio Shack.
When I saw your user name I thought you had something like this.

WELCOME ... I had a 1967 2-speed American, tough to pedal in any gear, strong bike and good on decents. Could load it with alot of weight. I had a 69 Speedster, a few others too.
