A Norwegian hello from Istanbul
Hi!
What a great forum! I'll certainly find the answers to some bike questions here.
I'm biking with two friends from the North Cape of Norway to Cape Agulhas, South Africa. We're currently in Istanbul leaving about 15000 km left to bicycle. Please check out our web site: www.bikecape2cape.com.

Wow! I've been looking at your web site and was just reading about your equipment. You guys must be developing legs of steel! How much do you think your bikes weigh fully loaded with gear (and including the Bobs)? Best of luck with your expedition -- hope it gets drier and warmer for you soon! Tony.

Thank you, Tony. The bike, equipment and BOB each of us is dragging along weigh about 45 kg I guess, but I havn't really checked. It's heavy alright, but we need every single thing.. The web site isn't fully updatet yet, but it soon will!
And we have been in Istanbul for 8 days now, staying at Hostel Istanbul. We are leaving tomorrow morning though.
