Hello from San Francisco Bay Area!
 

I recently relocated to the Bay area from New England and have started biking (along with the other outdoor activities we can participate in year round here). I have not ridden a bike since I was a child, but with the guidance of a LBS am on a Specialized Myka Expert. I joined a local riding group and learning my way around the trails and trying not to be terrified on the busy city streets. A friend is trying to talk me into getting a road bike and training for a century, which is very appealing.

Each time I Google a bike related question, this site pops up, so I decided to join and learn from the bounty of knowledge on these boards. I will have a million questions ranging from mechanical to technique to safety and look forward to sharing with you all.
