Hello from the upstate of South Carolina
Hi fellow BF members,
My name is Beth and I am looking forward to getting to know the folks here at BF. My husband and I picked up bicycle touring 9 years ago and have learned to love discovering the world from 2 wheels (only the US so far, but over 16k miles of it!). We recently purchased some carbon fiber road bikes so we can once again ride with our friends (the same ones we re-introduced to cycling who then went and bought fast bikes!). Looking forward to getting some wisdom from you regarding all things cycling and reading your great stories. Ride on!

We found some 2012 Specialized Roubaix. Pick them up this weekend and hope to get in a ride - the 100% chance of rain/thunderstorms may put off the maiden voyage for a few days, but I am really excited!

Hi Beth, glad you chose to join us here at BF. sounds like you and your husband are experienced cyclist, I hope we can contribute to you cycling enjoyment. The Roubaix is a fantastic choice, excellent bikes, you should enjoy the ride they offer. We have a great Touring Forum and a Road Cycling Forum, both will offer you a lot of opportunities to share your knowledge and to get some enjoyment with others.
