Hello

Hi

I found this forum today and have learned that there is a place here for my people, I am a 52 yo Goliath who is returning to biking.

In the late 70's rode a Peugeot U08, i loved that bike, then my parents had a garage sale while I was pursuing my education and sold it. I can't get too mad, they helped pay for my education.

In the 90's I rode a trek 700 around town and when I had children placed a seat on the back for them. I now want to return to bicycling more seriously.

I am in the market for a new road bike and all the accessories, that my wife will let me buy. My goal is to ride a century, in a charity event, by the end of 2010. I am in reasonable shape, I go the the gym 4 to 5 days a week and I feel that this is a reasonable goal FYI I live in SE NewEngland
