Okay, this is the first leg in a long journey to get myself back in healthy shape. I am severely obese and have purchased a trike to start working out on. I have only one problem with the bike, other than the fact that I haven't rode a bike in 25 years, the pedals are to small. Due to my size, my legs are angled in to get the pedals and I need help. Can you all lead me to a solution. If they make such a thing, are there larger pedals. Do I just want to go with a strap. Any and all assistance would be appreciated. Jamestown, Pa. here.
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum! I believe you got the help you needed in the Clyde forum. I started riding again after about 15 years just a couple months ago. I'm over 350#, not sure what exactly. As was said in the other forum, just get out there and ride often. Can't do more than 5 minutes? Great! You did some. Strive for 10, then 20. I go out just about every day and ride until my hands are too numb. I've gotten to the point where my legs can handle more but my hands can't. I'm thrilled to see endurance improvements.
Remember the victories, ignore the defeats, learn from the mistakes and press on. G-d bless.

Thorns are never a good addition to a bike ride. In FL we have Bougainvilleas with thorns about 3 inches long. Beautiful plant unless you get too close.
