Hi All,
We have in the family 3 bikes. I like to repair them alone and I saw this site give good answer so decided to sign. I come mostly from electronic field and use for a minimum of information what I not find at Shimano. Before tell it what it is will write them first.
Thanks for the nice site.

Hi RonH, Hi All,
Sorry for the late answer.
I have a Villiger Berdetto named strong Al bike. It is a woman compromise bike to can have a basket on the back. with this I go to buy and also
go longer (for me longer) trips as 40 or sometimes 60 miles trips. It is 26" and the tires are 1.5" I have it 6 years and the cheap Acera parts not made any problem.
Now I changed the chain (HG 50), cassette HG 50 (11-32tooth) and the back Derailleur. I put also new tires of Vittoria what I find very good.
The front changer suffered from the salty snow and because material get older have to change it next time with the chain as the front tooth wheel.
All the best,
losi
