Hello all, been lurking here for a few days and decided to make it official. My name is Dan, I started riding again because I had gotten fat (300 lbs.), lazy and worst of all, Diabetic. Im riding a 2008 Specialized Tricross Comp. Mostly on the Macomb-Orchard Rail Trail. Since starting to ride in earnest 2 months ago I have completely changed my life style, diet and have dropped to 265 lbs. From almost no activity I am at 95 miles total for last week. I feel great (sore), and am starting to see the effects of the weight loss.
