doesn't get any newer than me
Hey All,
I'm embarrassingly out of touch with the mechanics of biking, but I love it and want to learn more! I have a Trek Pilot 1.0 and take her on both extended trips and short jaunts around town- it's invaluable to me, and I want to make sure I'm extending the life of my bike. I'm sure I'll be posting all sorts of ridiculously basic questions here, please take pity of my soul and give me a straight answer- god bless the anonymity of the Internet.

Welcome! Sounds like me about a year ago, I took my bike and all its wonder for granted. Now I do all my own upkeep and my bike is definitely benefiting regular maintenance. Don't forget to search old threads, the archives hold some mighty wisdom.
