Hello All!

It took me forever to find this forum! I've been looking at road bikes for the last month or two and have found the most help when my google search led me to a forum on this site. I eventually got a sweet deal on a cannondale caad9-7 used with only 30 miles on it for 500 bucks.

Now is the part where I ask a question. I took my bike for it's first spin yesterday and some guy with a weed eater threw a pebble and hit my new bike :-(. There's a tiny exposed section of aluminum now. Should I be worried? Is there something I should seal it with to stop corosion?

Some riders use clear nail polish.

Oo, I didn't even think of that. It seriously just caught the frame underneath so I'm not concerned with how it looks. I just don't want it to grow. I've still have a lot of miles to put on this bike!

Stay away from lawn mowers and weed eaters. We always yell at the operator or get as far away as we can.
