Hello from Connecticut!
New member---new to the sport!
The last time I was on a bike I was 16....no laughing now! Recently retired--one of them Engineering Types--and enjoying life with my wife Diane. JUST purchased an 09 Trek 7.2 FX and have added a rack with a small bag, better saddle, wireless 5-function trip meter/speedometer,bottle w/ cage and ergo-hand grips. I guess I could be labeled a 50 + RHINO-RIDER---6 foot 257lbs with two new knees(partial replacement on both) Trying, now, to build my endurance to reverse lots of years of not doing too much physically. It's only been 2-weeks but we're making progress! This is a GREAT forum--- a real nice place to learn about this sport and meet some new friends. Thanks for having me :) |
