New to forum - still riding the old Schwin I've had for years. Looking for a place to ask general questions, but don't think the guys on $3,000 bikes can relate to someone who uses toe clips. Maybe i'm wrong. General question - does the crank arm length (mine are 170 mm) make any difference to a recreational rider like me (20 miles 3x wk)??

Welcome lymobear to Bike Forums.
Me 65 y/o on toe clips for 32,000 miles

How tall are you?

6ft here, I prefer 175 crank arms.

I'm 6'-0" and my crank arms are 172.5 mm. but I gave up on toe clips in the late 80s. Those things are death traps.
