Geezer II
My name is Scott and I hail from Fort Collins, CO. I'm a 55 YO newbie that has decided to do something useful with his life and get back into shape. As a 35 year veteran of auto repair, just about every joint in my body feels shot, but biking seems to be helping. My daily commute total is about 15 miles and I ride a Schwinn CF-1000. I have been riding about 7 months now and have dropped from 265 to 215 and feel better every day.
I am eagerly looking forward to gaining knowledge from the experienced riders here and having a bit of fun along the way.
Tomorrow will be the first day of the rest of my life without ciggys- so if I seem a tad testy at times, try to cut me a bit of slack, please. LOL
