Bike Forums - Hello from Long Island, NY

Hi, I'm really happy that I've found this site, with all the support and knowledge you all share. I'm 38 and I'm in a way, new to biking. I've only been riding now for about two months, after a 20 years lay off. When I was a kid, you couldn't get me off my bike, me and all my friends, riding to the park, to the local 7-11, around the neighborhoods, bike tag, (had a Rose Apollo 5 speed), I was loving it.
It's amazing how happy I am and how great I feel now that I'm back on a bike. I have a Trek 7100, I ride it almost every day, (12 miles roundtrip from my home to the beach & back). I already have issues with the front brakes though, I can't get them centered and it's driving me crazy, the constant rubbing on the rim, but I'm looking forward to researching all the material available to figure out how to take care of them and fix that problem.
