Greetings from East Burke, Vermont
I found this sight while looking for information and ideas about two new bike builds I am working on, I found some great stuff here, thanks. I am building a Fatback from Speedway for the snow and Jabber Wocky from Vassago because I've wanted to experience a single speed for many years now. And, after waiting 3 weeks without a bike for a rear shock repair this summer it is now time for a rigid single speed.
I spend most of my time offroad riding a Trek ex9 on the Kingdom Trails trail system but love to road ride too. I was a bike mechanic in a earlier life hence the bike build hobby projects this winter. Pretty much just love to ride.

Hello Jeff. I have also just found the sight. I live by Liverpool, England, but have cycled many miles in the USA.
Atlanta, GA to Halifax, NS in 1991, through Vermont following ridge roads of the Appalachions, not trails.
And in 1997, on a tandem bike with my wife, 3,209 miles from Vancouver,BC towards my sisters house in Greenville, SC.
I often wonder if I can connect again with people I met/stayed with on those cycle trips.
Alan.
