New guy from Arlington TX

Hello,

I recently started cycling again after about 13 years of not riding. I used to ride free style as a kid, but now ride mostly street and some offroad trails. My bike is a 2010 Scott Sportster Hybrid. The bike is mainly stock, except I've added some Shimano Deore hubs with Mavic double walled rims. I love my bike.

Thanks
Matthew

Not too sure about Arlington, but there are some decent social rides in Fort Worth, if you're interested. Check out facebook pages for Trinity Bicycles, Night Riders, Fort Worth Critical Mass, etc.

You may want to check with the Bicycles Inc. store.

They should have newsletters from the Lone Star Cyclists club and the Fort worth Bicycling Association so you can find rides in the local area.

Howdy and welcome to the forums.

I take the previous comment to mean "Good upgrades", referring to the hubs and rims you mentioned, FYI.
