Very recent convert to cycling
Just days after turning 18, I went on an 8 hour bike ride through LA in the middle of the night. I hadn't ridden a bike since I was 13-ish cruising around the neighborhood with friends. I'm also slightly out of shape. Great combo for an extremely intense ride huh?
Well, I really enjoyed it. Other than some bum pains I actually felt really good afterward. So, here I am. My ultimate goal is to build my own single speed from the ground up by the end of the month. I know there's plenty of naysayers to noobs building stuff on their own, but people said the same thing about computers and I ignored it--now I work in the field. |
Cheers Winnie, welcome to Bike Forums!

Will it have a fixed gear or a freewheel. If you choose fixed you might get some inspiration here:- Fixedgeargallery.com Good luck. |
