If it fits you, and it's in good shape, that's a good deal. One of the best riding bikes I owned was an 80's Holdsworth Special. Paint and decals would chip if you sneezed within 5 feet of the bike, but she rode beautifully.

thanks......i am not wild about the suntour stuff and would prefer index in back. i am not handy to change stuff so i rely on bike shops and the like. it was real rainy today and cold here so i didnt ride it. i may go back tomorrow to ride it. its a pretty small frame. 19 in. to top of seat tube with a 20 inch top tube. i am thinking of making an offer to leave room for a couple of up grades.
thanks marty

i forgot to mention it has a ding in the top tube but not significant enough to throw it out of whack or kill the deal.
what sort of component change would be good for index shifting on this bike??
