Started commuting in earnest last summer for fitness sake. Just 8K one-way and now, with new job down to 5K. Using my hardback mtb with road tires w/ trusty pannier for all the 'just-in-case' gear. Determined to make it through the winter to complete my metamorphosis from fair whether cyclist to full-on commuter. Invested heavily in gear taking inspration from a colleague who cycles year-round. Temperatures below freezing and so far so good!
