Latin bikers? I know I am!
Hi! My name is Alejandro, and I live in the Dominican Republic. That's the country next to Haiti, most of you probably don't know that... I got into bikes very recently (just got my first road bike for Christmas), and started because I want to start triathlon
I'm already a swimmer, and also took up running recently. Oh, by the way... the bike I got is a 2010 model Scott Speedster S50. I really like it, even though the saddle makes my sit bones hurt like all hell... I've been told it takes some time getting used to, but anyways. That's who I am, that's what I do.

Ola Alejandro, bien venido,
This is mostly a civilized place and you will like it here. There is great technical knowledge here that you will find useful. I don't know much about tri competition but I can appreciate that the training presents challenges. How do you go about that in the Dominican Republic.

Hey, thanks for welcoming me! berner, regarding the training... I swim every day, except for Sundays, so I'm covered there. The cycling and running, I wake up early (before my family wakes up) and go to a park that's right in front of my building. It's about 5.3Km long, and I do as many laps as I have planned out. One day I run, the next I ride. It's pretty easy that way, and feels great.
