Good morning everyone.
I'm writing from Amesbury, MA, just south of New Hampshire. I rode a sports comfort (Raleigh SC30) for about a year after not having owned a bike since 1970 or so. Gotto the point where I could get about 25 miles on it, and could just about make it up the hills in West Newbury (gotta love Pipestave Hill!).
About a month ago I got a Cannondale R600 and have about 650 miles on it now. What a difference! I don't exactly race up the hills, but I haven't used the granny ring yet, either. I still do 20 miles or so about 5 times a week - got to get my 56 y.o. body used to the new position - sure is fun, isn't it?
