she is getting the Specialized Crossroads sport in rose color and I cant choose between the crossroads elite(trigger shifters), Jamis Citizen 3(narrower tires) with very comparable components and the bike I really like the Jamis Allegro 3 with the carbon fork and flat bars its a very light and quick bike. I have breathing problems at times and I'm worried about the leaning over along with the higher cost.

Get the one you like.
Leaning should make breathing better.
It does for me.

It will take you about 500 miles to get your core and legs ready to be faster on it.
You will go through some pain to get there.
Just rest, take a day off when you need too.
