Oops. Already hit the Road forum with this, but hey. Been following BF for a while and decided to join. This season will be my first racing with a team and I hope to pay off my new bike by March, when the snow thaws here in northwestern MI.

Hi everyone. Brand new to the forum. I love the forum and have lurked for months. Finally, I decided to join and come out of the shadows.
I own four bikes at the moment. Two identical Redline Monocog 29ers and a Diamondback (old school) single-speed conversion 26er. The Diamondback Topanga was my first mountain bike (c.a. 1985) and just converted it to a single speed. Also own a Schwinn Hybrid that collects dust. Anyone want to buy it? It's like brand new.
Have owned several road bikes... most notable a LeMond that was raced in the Tour de France and a Davidson. Not a fan of road bikes. Single speed mountain bikes are the greatest! Just raced my first cyclocross this winter -- AWESOME! Now I'm looking for a cross bike under 20 pounds and a grand. Prefer disc now that it's legal. Thoughts?
