New user in the San Diego area
I must have missed this when I first started using the forum, whoops! Anyway, here goes. I'm originally from the Boston area, recently relocated to the San Diego area. I predominantly ride road on my y2k Schwinn Peloton, which I bought everything for and built myself. My first build. I also have a Curtlo Advanced Mountaineer that I don't ride now. This will probably make it to the classifieds at some point. I really want to get back into Mountain Biking but my back can no longer take a hardtail. I also love to tool around town on a beach cruiser. Soon though, I will be building up another bike to tool around town on. Not sure what direction I want to go in. I have a few dream bikes that I would love to put in my garage... a 3Rensho, a PK Ripper, a Tim Issac built Schwinn Paramount(Missed out on one by one bid on ebay a while back! Still haunts me!) and any Merckx will do. I love to ride with people and alone, day or night, 50 miles or just to the market and back. I don't care where because I am happiest on my bike. I can't stand bike snobs, or any snobs for that matter. They have no place in my life! I can't stand when I say good morning to other cyclists or give them a head not only to be ignored. Pisses me off! Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. I look forward to reading and conversing with you all, that is if you are not a snob..."just sayin'!" (Think I may have already run into one. Oh well, I guess they're everywhere.) Ride On!
