From SC!

Hey, I'm from Columbia, SC...in nursing school at USC (age 22). I like to ride on and offroad and would like to get into mountain biking sometime. I just started riding again so I'm really excited to get back into it. I ride a Specialized Hard Rock Sport.

welcome to the forums! A fellow southern Hardrock rider. I have an 05 Hardrock Pro Disc that I just got today after having not biked for a good 2 years or so. How's the riding down there? Probably a lot flatter than what we have here in Knoxville, TN.

Man I miss Columbia. I used to hang at this coffee shop down by the campus a few blocks from Five Points. Of course it's long gone now but I also used to hang out and be an unpaid roadie/bouncer at a club called Rockafella's back in the day too.

Good trails at Harbison State Forest and a decent one at Sesquicentenial State Park up that way. Check with a Cycle Center if they still race at the old Columbia Speedway.
