Hello! Moving to Reno!
Hi Everybody,
Longtime lurker in the San Joaquin Valley. Decided to pipe up because I'm moving to Reno, NV in July, and wanted to get some advice about road and mixed terrain rides around Reno, and connect with some riders for long-ish club rides.
I average 150 miles a week in the summer, and am looking forward to riding some big mountains this summer.
My current ride is a 2010 Salsa Pistola with a mix of Campy - sooper comfy!
Thanks in advance for any advice!
-Jared

Highly recommend mtb terrain around tahoe meadows at top of mt rose - tahoe rim trail can only be ridden on odd (or maybe even..?) calendar days and is fantastic, as is flume trail and tyrolean downhill. All around incline area just a short drive from reno.
