Hello from SC
Greetings, all. I'm back pedaling after a 13 year absence. My wife is back riding for the first time since she was a teenager. In my 30s, I enjoyed spinning up and down A1A from Ft. Lauderdale to Lighthouse Point on my 12-speed Bianchi Strada. Now that I'm again bitten by the cycling bug, I'm enjoying climbing the local mountains at home here in the Greenville area on my Lemond Nevada City. Man, what a difference clip-in pedals and STI shifters make, right ? Who knew ?
Hope to do some metric and full centuries soon, (maybe the FestiVelo de Charleston at www.festivelo.com) maybe the Assault on Mt. Mitchell further down the road, who knows. What a thrill it was recently to see George Hincapie win his final race here in the U.S. Postal blue uniform.

Hello!!! Welcome back to cycling!!! I live in Columbia and I will likely be participating in festivo this year with a couple of my friends. If you are interested in connecting before such time, please email me at my user account. Worry not, the guys I ride with are like myself (i.e., doctoral students with little time to ride) and thus we will not be setting the road aflame by any means. All the best, matthew.

Hi, fellow South Carolinians! In case you're interested, we're having three different rides on Sunday, February 20, 2005 as a part of the Myrtle Beach Marathon. No hills here... but at least you won't freeze to death. Here's the info:
