Hello from Silicon Valley

I'm a longtime but very intermittent rider, currently daily commuting bike/train up and down the valley here (depending on my mood, total bike travel is between 5 and 30 miles each way, depending on the stations I use (if I use any)). I usually ride a Fuji Absolute but also sometimes an ancient Haro "Rage" MTB or a micro-sized やまよら "Yaro Mountain" folder that I bought in China. Have a couple of other old bikes in the garage that I keep around for guests to ride... so they're meh but workable.

I've been delighted to find out lots of tips already here -- my LBS is surely very thankful for all the stuff I had to run out and buy once I read about it in a forum thread!
