Hello from Ohio !
Hello !
I have been lurking for a while, but figured I would join in on the fun and pelt the forum with questions. I have been cycling seriously (6+ miles a day) for about a month now, commuting by bike. I am going sans car, so no car for me. Good riddance, I say, but there are some adjustments....
...as for the rest of it, I am doing the whole "working student" thing, and in my spare time I am into music (playing and listening), art, computers, games (making and playing), etc.
Right now, my steed is a Manhattan Green cruiser, but I am hoping to get a Dutch city bike as finances permit. Will also look to bike year-round, because I do not want to get pimped by another cheap klunker car that will blow up on me.... and the idea of a three-season bike isn't affordable to me.... but we'll see how it goes.

Welcome to BF. I think you'll enjoy the Commuting and Living Car Free forums.

Columbus - the creme filled centre of the state, lol ! There's room for improvement, but I think Columbus is very bike friendly. It is likely easier here than many places of its size in the US to have a bike as the primary mode of transport.
