Eeyoop from'T North O' England

Hi to all.
New to the forum and glad to find it. I live in Lancaster but am originally from Leeds.
I have had a load of folders, recumbents, trikes and upright bikes over the past few years and love them all.
Don't work due to disabilities after a motorcycle smash in '96. Do mostly day rides but enjoy camping or "Bikepacking" a few times each year, have to keep it local as finances are TIGHT!
Anybody needs any information on the North of England and riding is welcome to mail me and I'll help where I can. Also a warm shower available with a few days notice.
Current folder (Had birdy, 6 Bromptons, Giant Halfway and others!) is a Dahon Speed TR and it is new so I haven't got much to say about it yet but it will happen! Hope to speak to all on here in the future.

Hello pedaldog, welcome and about finances being TIGHT, If you go to Ryan air .com and book 6-8 weeks in advance an airline ticket to anywhere in Europe is 0.50p, no its not a typing error. There is also a airport tax, approx 15.00 and they charge about 15 to take your bike to the plane. The service is brilliant and they are extremely punctual. If you were to fly of to a warm country, where the living is cheaper than in the UK, then you can offset the travelling expenses and still come out on top. As you do not work, the longer you stay the more you offset against living expense in the UK. All in all you will end up with a bloody good time, a tan and a tale or two to tell us all about it.
