Hello all!!! I have been somewhat "lurking" this forum for couple of weeks and have just now got up the inertia to commit to penning anything.
I am a doctoral student and thus my riding time for this year and a half past has been consistently-sporadic. During the week I ride to and fro school and over the weekends I put in about 30 to 40 miles a day recreationally when I road ride and about 15 miles per ride on the mountain bike.
My current stable of bikes has also changed since I have left the "real world". No longer do I have my s-works roadie (but to be honest, I never really liked the aluminum ride and I was never really able to vindicate having this high-end of a rig given my time and abilities); instead, these days I am down to my project bikes, a '86 Colnago & '86 Batavus Professional, an '98 GT Forte Tit. (my main ride), and my hardtail (Ibex 880).
Well, I am glad to make the acquaintances of this forum. See you on the road or trail.
Matthew
