New here - hi & a question

Hello,
I've been away from biking for quite awhile now but I do make sure I watch the Tour every year. That is my sports "hit" for the year haha.
I was cleaning out my garage and found a pair of .....27yr old...Road wheels. They are in very good shape - I need to clean them up. What I have is Campy Record Hubs & Aspin Tubular Rims....old school hu.
I don't know what they're worth - if anything. I last used them in the Ironman Triathlon World Championships - Kona Hawaii 1984 (zwhere-I-got-my-Username as you can see).

I'm on a mission to loose weight in my old aga and maybe get myself another road bike....we'll see how that comes together

These photos were taken a few minutes ago with my cell photo. The Brown Gunk is old grease not rust.

Great Forum,
Cheers,

Gary

Sounds like its time to get back on the bike.
Old? Whats that? I'm 66 and have two road bikes I ride several times a week.
If you're old enough stop by the 50+ forum and say hello to the old timers.

The folks in the C&V forum may be able to help with the wheels.

I will try to sell the hubs-n-wheels for $50. That should be a very good price for the buyer and I will be happy to see them out of my garage. Although - I'm a bit of a sentimental NUT I think....and part of me will be sad to see them go. They represent a very special time in my life when I went over to Kona to participate in the Ironman...it was the 6th yr. of the race (3rd yr. on the Big Island). These wheels were built for me to use in training for and in that event.
My wife, then my girlfriend, and I had a great time over there. Gawd! That was 27yrs ago! A life-time haha.

Thanks for the welcome GeoBigJon and the C&V tip RonH
