Hello from NYC
I'm Brian, it's been 15 years since I've been on a bike, I'm 34 but picked one up so I could compete in this years NYC Nautica Triathlon. I've quickly realized that the cycling portion (40k) will be the most challenging leg of the race for me.
I picked up a lightly used Trek 1000 from 2003 and have logged roughly 50 miles on it, my longest ride being 12 miles so far.
This sport is addicting to say the least and I'm up early in the AM to get in my ride before work, which is a first for me. I'm looking forward to learning from more experienced riders and seeing what you guys and gals have to say about what I'm doing right and definitely what I'm doing wrong.
