any good bike deals at rei "garage sale"
i am looking to buy my wife a comfort bike. something like a schwinn voyager gs. the rei garage sale is coming up in a couple of weeks but i have read other threads and they dont really mention any great deals on bikes. i dont want to spend too much, she is not much of a cyclist but i do not want to buy somethng cheap from a big box store. any suggestions. thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums! We don't have an REI close, 200 plus miles East or South, so I can't say. I know Academy, it's local, has some nice rides for folks who may not be much of a cyclist.

Around here REI calls the sales "scratch and dent" sales. Almost all of the items are returns (REI has a lifetime return policy) or items with pieces missing, or last years low end stuff.
Go to a real bike shop and look around. You don't want to get second rate (or lower) stuff for your wife.
