Hey about what my ride and where I ride. New to fourms
Hello, I have a giant revel 1 Front suspension bike. I use to get to work and back about 2.2 miles. In the afternoon and at night and some AM. I ride back rodes that are 2 lane. 35 miles a hour is the speed limit. but sence I have been rideing on this rode I have been clipped once by a truck and avioded a crash with a junky car at night that didn't have birght headlamps to see me. I was wearing a light front and rear but I just found out that it has started to flicker. So it will be replaced. I was about to cross the railroad tracks when all of a sudden the car turn stright for me. I turned hard into a ditch and was lucky that I didn't get hit. This is the most dircet route to home. But I don't want to ride it anymore. Anyways The route I could take takes me clear on the other side of town but its much safer to ride then the back rode. And the driver of the white truck who clipped me drove off. I was lucky I was wearing my helmet. Later that night I went around looking for that truck but had no luck. lucky for him the cops who where there were going to not go easy on him sence the Police shierff that showed up also rides a giant full suspension not far from my house and uses the same route. He was pretty pissed to find that I had been clipped that close to wear he lives. I have been rideing for about 3 years year round. I jst noticed something It should say lucky for him.... He was pretty pissed to find that I had been clipped that close to wear he lives. I have been rideing for about 3 years in winter and summer fall and spring.
