Good morning from Pittsburgh, Pa!
Hey everyone! Sean from Pittsburgh here. I started biking in 7th grade (1996). I trained with my old man from the end of winter (march) through the end of may for the MS150 which runs from Pittsburgh to Erie over 2 days. I ended up wrecking on the 2nd day on mile 99 which got me 9 stitches in my chin. I rode the T.O.S.R.V. (210 over 2 days) in 2000 without wrecking 
I really haven't done jack since. I bought a trek 4300 about 3 years ago and started riding a bit offroad but haven't really been serious about it. My friend from Philly called me over Christmas and asked if i wanted to ride from Pittsburgh to D.C. over 5 days in August. So i'm back on the training saddle and figured it would be a good idea to hop on a forum to better educate myself for this trip. It's good to be back!
