New to forum
I joined the forum last month and have meant to post an introduction. I recently found my bicycle again - amazing since it has been hanging on my garage wall for some time now.
I have been cycling for many years. I toured Europe for 2 months in 1980 by bicycle with a friend. It was a great learning experience. I returned to Germany in the mid 1980s with the US military and was in a local cycling club. There were 4 Americans in the club and we were warmly welcomed.
I have always enjoyed cycling but life and choices pulled me away. Several months ago I hopped on my bicycle and started to ride. I had forgotten about the joy cycling gave me and I think that I kept a smile on my face for several days after.
I live next to a Rails to Trails route in Southern Mississippi and have enjoyed reconnecting.
I look forward to seeing how outdated my clothes are (
)and how much I can learn on the forum. Thanks for having me.

PS I have a Trek 930, Trek SLR 1500, and a Bianchi made in the early 1980s
