Greetings from SE Pennsylvania
I've been lurking here a while. After doing little to no riding over the past decade, I splurged on a Cannondale Quick 5 at the end of March in hopes of leaving a stray pound or three along some of the nearby trails. I believe the hybrid is much more suited to the local trails than my fairly ancient Fuji road bike.
I live in Montgomery County, only a few miles from the mid-point of the Perkiomen Trail. As the old muscles have begun to adjust (I turn 70 in July), I have driven to various Schuylkill River Trail access points where I've managed to do as much as 20 mile round trips on that relatively benign terrain.
One of my other interests is photography, so I occasionally combine the two:
Perk Trail
SRT
I see lots of good info here and am grateful to those who set up the forum, and those who contribute useful info.
