Hi from NJ

Hey everyone. My name's Nick. I got into road riding via triathlons a few years back.

I'm racing IM Wisconsin next fall and with my limited budget, I'm going to be riding my current steel road bike with some shorty aerobars. So the plan is for lots of time in the saddle to make up for the lack of aerodynamics that all those other folks have with their TT bikes. I'd love to at least get a new set of wheels to race on instead of the heavy stock set I'm using now, but if all the posters on most of the tri-forums are to be believed (that it's not worth it unless I can drop $500 or more), then I'll be grinding out the miles on what I have.

So hey, my goal is to prove the axiom: "It's the horse, not the chariot."
