large-sized female rider here-looking for a bigger, better bike
my name is Alice (50 yr) and i live on the coast of CA. lots of beautiful bike trails here!
i am looking for a new bike. i have been riding a Lucky Seven, an all crome, 27 inch men's bike. it is getting harder and harder to swing my leg over the seat. time for a new bike and i need help in the choosing.
now, here's the clincher: i am a big women, i weigh around 300 lbs so the bike has to be just right. i am in good health, ride 3-5 times a week, swim 3-5 times a week and walk my two pugs daily. the bike i am riding right now is a seven speeder and works just fine for me. i just need a female bike but do they make 27 inch female bikes?
any help would be much appreciated.
