Greetings from Middle Tennessee....
Stumbled across this looking for crank fixes(prolly low torque, btw). Mountain biking's my thing and I got hooked on it in Germany in 1995(stationed there in the U.S. Army) after I quit smoking. I think cycling's healthier, but smoking was definitely cheaper at the time
. I might get into road biking if a) my wife lets me get another bike and b) I can get over my cycling equivilent of road rage(I gets no respect from the autos around here, but that's changing). Great resources and I look forward to being a member.

Nice to see another middle Tennessee rider. I live in Nashville mostly ride a road bike.

Thanks for the reply, Afton. What kind of bike(s) you ride? I've tried riding with the local club, but it's awfully hard to keep up with road bikes with mtb gearing and just slicks to help out. Hmm, wonder what ever happened to my slicks, anyways...*goes off "In Search Of..."*

I ride a Trek Malone 5.2 I also try to ride some with local club but mostly ride with friends near my own age(53) My other bike is a Schwin Mesa.
